The A84 closed to heavy goods vehicles between Fougères and Caen
The A84 motorway has been closed to heavy goods vehicles since 6 hours between Fougères and Caen. A load shedding route passing through Avranches – Granville – Coutances – Carentan – Bayeux has been put in place. Furthermore, the N174 is prohibited for heavy goods vehicles between Saint-Lô and Guilberville.
Cap Cotentin network bus lines stopped
THE lines 1 to 8 of the Cap Cotentin urban network are suspended “until further notice” following the snowflakes that fell this morning in the department. “Snowfall is heaviest around Mortain and Villedieu-les-Poêles with snow sticking to the ground”explain Ivan Le Cann the head of the road maintenance and safety department at the Departmental Council. Around thirty teams from the Department have been on the ground since this morning.
