The A10 motorway is currently partially closed, towards Paris, due to a fatal accident, this Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
It's the day of disruptions in Paris and Ile-de-Francece Tuesday December 3, 2024. After the numerous breakdowns, closures and other problems at the level of public transport (closure of RER line B, line K, line 7 of the Paris metro or even Invalides station), it is the turn of the A10 motorway to be greatly disturbedat the end of the day, this time for a more tragic reason.
It is, in fact, following a serious accident between two vehicles that theA10 motorway is, currently, partly closed to traffic towards Paris – from the fork of the A11 and the A10 to the height of Les Ulis, in Essonne (91). The accident, which took place after the toll of Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines in Yvelinesled to the death of a man and two injuries in an absolute emergency.
The cause, according to information from our colleagues at actu.fr, was an elderly person who was driving the wrong way on the highway. The accident occurred around 4:30 p.m. today.
No information regarding the normal resumption of road traffic has not, for the moment, been communicated by the gendarmerie or the prefecture. In the meantime, a DETOUR was put in place.
