“She changed her name”: David Pujadas opens up about his daughter

Journalist David Pujadas presented the France 2 newspaper for years. Since then, he has worked on LCI in the show 24h Bidding. This Monday, June 24, the news channel celebrated its thirtieth candle.

David Pujadas opens up about his family and his daughter

Guest in the Buzz TV this Tuesday, June 25, the journalist made some confidences about his family. “I have four children. It’s a bath that also helps you and holds you. We are lucky to have jobs where there will not suddenly be a power cut and everything will stop. I will always keep activities here and there, especially when you are a business manager. So, I don’t see it in those terms. But I happily envision long stretches of time where I will be able to read many more novels, see many more films… And see many more of my children and, I hope, their descendants afterwards.” he revealed.

He also took advantage of his appearance on the show to reveal that one of his daughters also worked as a journalist but under a last name other than his.

There is a journalist among them (his children, editor’s note). She’s already there, but being permanently her father’s daughter when she starts… so she changed her name and I won’t allow myself to reveal her name” he confided without saying more to the journalists present on the set.

A father present for his children

David Pujadas had already spoken about his role as a father to our colleagues at TV Magazine in 2017.”With my children, I am a demanding father. I strive to open them up to the world (…) One thing is simple: never try to be friends with your children. They don’t expect that from you. They expect the authority of an adult, without confusion of roles. It’s the difference that makes the exchange. I try to transmit some values, such as taking everything that is good in life, living in the present, respect, loving yourself to love others.” he had said.
