Luxair Airlines is committed! As part of a partnership with the Stand Speak Rise Up! association, the Luxembourg company is unveiling this Saturday a plane decorated in support of women experiencing violence around the world.
Through the Stand Speak Rise Up! association, the Grande-Duchesse Maria Teresa and its partners have been striving since 2019 to raise awareness of the cause of violence against women in conflict zones. Also to support these women – the survivors – in their reconstruction.
It is precisely a mosaic of the drawn faces of these survivors which decorates the De Havilland Q400 aircraft which will be officially inaugurated this Saturday in the Luxair maintenance hangar at Findel. This collaboration between the company and Stand Speak Rise Up! aims to celebrate the diversity and strength of women around the world, while calling for collective awareness and action.
The cause of violence against women transcends all geographic, social and demographic boundaries. Raising awareness of this reality and mobilizing public opinion are essential to support those who are leading this crucial battle.
