Catherine Beauchamp then asks Paul Arcand – who has always refused to play mother-in-law with Patrick Lagacé – to talk about “healthy lifestyle” – whether to have a drink or not, what time to go to bed – when to get up at 3 a.m.
“First of all, it’s a roundabout way of asking me to play mother-in-law. It smells like a trap…” (crazy laughter on the air).
“I don’t have any advice to give. I think you just have to love what you do. Then, I know that Patrick loves what he does. Patrick and I have been talking about radio for a long time. I remember when he came to my house, then he was wondering: ”Do you think I should do this?”What was said remains between us and it belongs to us. We see each other often, and then we talk about lots of things. And you know, basically, there is no challenge. The challenge, or call it the ground rules, is to have a little discipline.”
