Oil prices continue their downward trend under the positive impetus of the American market. However, the global market could tighten in the coming weeks given geopolitical tensions in the main production areas.
Compared to the month of June, average barrel prices have decreased by -4.79% for unleaded and -0.47% for diesel, or respectively almost -3 and -1 cents perceptible to the end consumer. . The dollar strengthens slightly, impacting prices upwards by around 1 cent. Taxation (CEE) has a downward influence on the two fuels (- approximately 1 cent).
The price of a gas bottle remains stable thanks to the aid, which has been extended until the end of the year.
As of July 1, 2024, the maximum prices applicable to Reunion Island will be as follows:
Super unleaded: 1.68 euros/liter (-3 cents)
Diesel: 1.32 euro.litre (-1 cent)
Gas: 15 euros/bottle (unchanged)
