It was this Friday that Gino Chouinard officially left Hello Hello.
The last minutes of the show were offered to him so that he could address the people he wanted.
The host started his speech with a joke: “ I have a surprise to tell you: I’m not leaving after all “.
Obviously, the crowd (made up of many collaborators and friends of Gino gathered around Gregory Charles’ piano) laughed.
“ I don’t know if I’ll find the right words because you can’t sum up 21 years of morning shows like that by naming people or specifying what they meant to us. What is clear I think is that I am leaving in one of the most extraordinary periods of my personal and professional life, and that is thanks to everyone who has surrounded me over the years. The bosses trusted me, allowed me to be what I was without ever intervening once in 21 years regarding what I did, what I said and how I was on TV. »
They let me be Gino Chouinard as I thought I should be.
He then turns to his family. “ My kindness that you spoke of comes from my mother. My mother is the extraordinary woman who showed me everything, who taught me to be kind, to pay attention to others. I find my wife and my two children whom I have already told you that I never saw grow up in the morning because I was not there. My girlfriend, Isabelle, who, all these years, has made sacrifices of her own, it is she who allowed me to be here with you in the morning. »

Gino completely broke down when it came time to address his “ family Hello Hello » : « I have at least as much love for you as you gave me today. »
He also addressed the audience: “ We did it for you too. »
Sometimes we bleed to be with you.
