During the debate bringing together representatives of the three main blocs on Thursday evening on France 2, the president of the RN said “having already put names to positions” three days before the first round of the early legislative elections.

What will Jordan Bardella’s government plan be if he were to be appointed to Matignon, in the event of victory in the early legislative elections? Invited Thursday evening by France 2 to detail his future team during the last debate before the first round, alongside Gabriel Attal (Ensemble) and Olivier Faure (PS-NFP), the president of the National Rally said he wanted “to bring together, to unite all French people wherever they come from, whatever their past political choices”. And so be the “everyday prime minister” to put “at the heart of public action, the daily lives of the French.”

To answer to “a very strong demand for authority”the 28-year-old MEP hopes to create “a government of national unity”, in which will sit “all the energies and all the skills that are expressed in the country.” Of this vast ambition, Jordan Bardella promised “famous faces of the RN, the Republicans” pour “expand your majority” et “people from civil society who are sincere patriots who have at heart the sovereignty of France, the defense of our identity and allowing all French people to regain control of the country.”

Other personalities to come

Without going into further detail, the nationalist figure affirms “having put names on positions”. “Obviously Éric Ciotti, the president of the Republicans, will be called to important responsibilities in this government”he said. Like other personalities “that the French will be brought to know.” If Jordan Bardella is looking that far ahead, the coalition of the right, which he has led, must still manage to obtain an absolute majority on July 7. Last week, Marine Le Pen’s successor had assured “refuse” to be named rue de Varenne if he was in a position to be so… while only having a relative majority.
