Ground-mounted solar AO: Neoen in the lead, prices falling

The government unveiled yesterday the results of the sixth session of the so-called “PPE 2” call for tenders for public support for ground-mounted solar power plants. Some 948.3 MW spread across 120 projects were awarded while a volume of 925 MW was initially proposed. The average price is down, to €79.28/MWh compared to €81.90/MWh during the previous session in spring which marked a first downward shift. For the record, at the start of this call for tenders in 2021, the average price was €58.84/MWh.
