The 39-year-old actor, seen notably in the Netflix film Yakshawas found dead at his home on Tuesday November 12.

Song Jae-lim, a South Korean star known for his roles in cinema and television series, was found dead on Tuesday November 12 in his apartment in Seoul at the age of 39.

“Our initial investigation has so far revealed no signs of criminal activity,” police in the Korean capital told CNN.

“Since the family does not want an autopsy, we will hand over the body to them,” she continued, while indicating that a thorough investigation would take place. Still according to the American media, Song Jae-lim’s body was discovered by a friend who had planned to have lunch with him. A note was found on site. Born in 1985, Song Jae-lim began his career with modeling before moving into acting. He started in 2009, at the age of 24, with a small appearance in the film Actresses. He then moved on to feature films Grand Prix, The Suspect or even On Our Wedding Daywhile multiplying the roles in dramas, these very popular series in South Korea, notably Moon Embracing the Sun.
