The season’s most iconic characters performed songs from the decade. And to help the jury of investigators unmask them, namely Chantal Ladesou, Inès Reg, Kev Adams, and Laurent Ruquier, a new mystery investigator was invited to join them… disguised as Avatar, “a costume never seen on the show”.

Mask Singer: Who is the new mystery investigator hidden under the Avatar costume?

”What was Laurent Ruquier doing in the 80s?” asked Camille Combal. “I was passing my baccalaureate”, he replied with a smile. “What about Chanchan?”, questioned Kev Adams with humor. “She already had two grandchildren!”

The Avatar had barely arrived on set. “Can I kabuk?”, asked Chantal Ladesou, sure of herself. “How could you have kabooked, we can’t see who it is?” questioned Laurent Ruquier, amused. “I saw his approach”, replied the comedian in her legendary tone, before playing the seductress. “Come get me Master Moya”. A bailiff who looked at what she had written on her form, before disappointing her: “Ah yes, all the same, well that’s not it”. Chantal Ladesou had kabouked Jean-Luc Reichman “but it’s not him”.

After a few clues given in magneto, the Avatar sang “If I were a man” by France Gall, before Inès Reg asked him one last question: “Have we known you part of your career as a duo?” “No”.

Investigator Guest eventually revealed himself: this is the actor and radio host Vincent Desagnat, already hidden under Le cornichon at the start of the show. “The Pickle has transformed into an avatar”, commented Laurent Ruquier with amusement.
