First contrasting day for the Braderie de Boussu: “we had a lot of last minute cancellations”

While the weather conditions may make you think that we are still in March, it is indeed time for the traditional Braderie de Boussu in the middle of June. The festivities began this Friday with the night sale. While many exhibitors had arranged to meet for the occasion, the weather discouraged more than one, to the great dismay of the organizers.

Unfortunately, we have no control over the weather. The first rays of the morning sun foreshadowed the best for the rest of the day this Friday. Unfortunately, we had to deal with many last minute cancellations from people not taking the risk of going out due to the weather. Despite everything, there were many visitors strolling the streets of Boussu this Friday. We’re obviously keeping our fingers crossed that the weather remains mild this Saturday.”, indicates Alexandre Célestri.

In addition to the good weather, a program of great evenings awaits visitors. It all started this Saturday morning during the flea market. The nightly sale will then return from 5 p.m. On a musical level, beautiful people will also be there since Saona will be present as will Cosimo who will cover songs by Eros Ramazzotti and Marcelle Alexi who will sing Michelle Torr. The evening will then begin with a cover by Claude François before Soul Train Memories, the first major event of the evening. “Friends” evening and Malo, candidate for The Voice Kid, will perform the show until 11 p.m. before moving on to the emotional aspect of this edition of the Braderie de Boussu.

The sale will return to the renovated Boussu square: a show in tribute to Mademoiselle Luna, Daddy K and the Gipsy Kings has been announced

We will pay tribute to Mademoiselle Luna in collaboration with Think Pink. A laser show will notably be on the program. The latter will be hosted by Mademoiselle Luna’s friend and colleague, Gaëtan Bartosz, before continuing with Daddy K. The next day, David Jeanmotte will take over the entertainment reins.”, concludes Alexandre Célestri.

The appointment is therefore given this Saturday in Boussu to experience an evening rich in music and emotions.
