Saturday June 15, all residents of Bazus are invited to an outdoor Olympic day with their families.
The Bazus town hall, with the help of numerous associations, organizes this day around the village hall. The CMJ (Children’s Municipal Council), the BSB (Bazus Sports Ball), the Colb (Bazus Omnisports and Leisure Club), the elves’ club and Ufolep (French Union of Secular Physical Education Works) will actively participate at the day.
On the program, all kinds of free activities throughout the day. Young and old will be welcome.
To start the morning, athletes will meet around 9 a.m. at the village hall for a departure at 9:30 a.m. for 3 different activities according to everyone’s tastes: photo rally in Bazus, walking for beginners or experienced (possibility of loan walking sticks) or even a bike ride led by local champion, Franc Fava.
Around 11:30 a.m., inauguration of the fitness area, followed by an aperitif offered by the town hall.
From 3 p.m., a multitude of games and activities are offered by the different entertainers. Arrival of the flame under the Olympic arch, laser rifle shooting, goal shooting, archery, sack race, tug of war, basketball, Paralympic games, stilts, slackline, molky, and much more others. There will be surprises throughout the afternoon and the BSB and Colb associations will host a refreshment bar.
