The suspect “admitted to being the author of the shots targeting the family” installed on land in Chênex, in Haute-Savoie, “while denying having deliberately hit the victim”, a 40-year-old pregnant woman, who went out to see the damage after “several gunshots” at his mobile home on February 22, prosecutor Line Bonnet said in a press release.

According to the testimonies of the victim’s husband and two daughters, aged 13 and 14, the family mobile home was “the target of several gunshots, at least one of which hit a gas bottle located at the outside”. Bullet holes were found on the gas bottle and the mobile home, as well as “several cartridge cases in the forest about a hundred meters from the mobile home”.
