Trashier than the Kardashians? Alec Baldwin launches his reality show about his family life

The last time we heard from Alec Baldwin, it was about his legal troubles, he being prosecuted for involuntary manslaughter after the death of the cinematographer on the set of the film Rust in 2021. The actor then thought he was shooting with blank bullets even though his weapon had been loaded with real ammunition.

But that was before the actor announced other news: a reality show focusing on him and his family will be broadcast in 2025 on the American channel TLC. It must be said that the actor shares his life with his wife Hilaria but also with their seven children, aged 11 to 1 year old.

In a video posted on the TLC channel’s social networks, the couple explains: “We invite you to our home to experience the ups and downs; the good, the bad, the wild and the crazy. Home is the place we love to be the most. (…) We are the Baldwins, and we are going to TLC! May God help you all.”

This announcement did not fail to provoke a reaction, starting with Gloria Allred, the lawyer for the relatives of the victim of the shooting on the set of Rust “It appears to me that this was a calculated and cynical public relations stunt designed to influence the New Mexico jury to view him as a sympathetic family man rather than the murderer of ‘Halyna Hutchins, our customers’ beloved daughter’.

Will this communication strategy really serve the interests of the actor? Answer from July 10, when he will appear in court. The actor faces up to 18 months in prison.
