“When I looked in the mirror, I started crying.”

It is the harsh law of Koh-Lanta, The cursed tribe. This Tuesday, October 15, Maud was eliminated after an eliminatory event, as Denis Brogniart had taken care to inform the adventurers still present in the game after the reunification. The 38-year-old sales manager, also a former high-level gymnast, answered questions from Tele-Leisure following this sudden departure from the TF1 game.

Maud, eliminated from Koh-Lanta, The cursed tribeopens up about his weight loss on set

Tele-Leisure : Before doing Koh Lantadid you fear the knockout events?
Maud : No, but I’d rather blame myself than blame other people. Conversely, it was more seeing my name on papers that would have been harder for me. So, I consoled myself a little like that.

What do you think you missed in this event with the grappling hooks?
I lacked energy, really, I was at the end of myself. I had no more strength. I felt so skinny! Looking in the mirror afterwards, I started to cry.

Have you suffered from hunger?
In itself, I wasn’t necessarily hungry, but yes, I didn’t think it would be so hard to eat a little bit every day. In fact, when I was eliminated, all I could think about was finally being able to eat. Then I ate like I’ve never eaten in my life!

Have you lost a lot of weight?
I lost almost 8 kilosbut on a small weight like me it’s a lot.

Maud (Koh-Lanta, The Cursed Tribe) : “Throughout the adventure, I felt in danger”

You were very close to Sarah during the adventure. How did you experience his altercation with Jacques at the end of the previous advice, when she blamed him for betraying her ?
I don’t know if we can talk about betrayal… Throughout the adventure, I felt in danger. And the afternoon before this advice, when we were looking for a necklace with Sarah, we were looking for it for me because I thought that Sarah had already forged more links with Jacques or with other yellows. Jacques had the right to put the name of a red, but it’s true that I was surprised that he put Sarah’s because he got along really well with her. What would have been nice was for him to tell her she was in danger. But hey, afterward, we must not forget that we are in a game and that if the goal was to eliminate him, we should not say it…

And you, what was your post-reunification strategy?
There weren’t really any among the reds. We arrived at reunification in Care Bear mode. It was only after the first advice that we said to ourselves that we had to get into strategy mode.

Ugo is like on ” : Maud (Koh Lanta 2024) gives his opinion on the leader of the red tribe

How did you find Ugo as team leader ?
I really loved it. He is a quiet force, a good captain. He’s like on TV. He is someone you can trust, who is humble, caring and willing to share with his team. During the tests, he was a really calm person. He never put pressure on us and I think that’s why we won a lot of events.

What was the hardest thing for you? Koh Lanta between the social side and the physical side?
It’s a whole! (smile). When it comes to tests, what is difficult is that our body is really diminished. And for the social side, I took it upon myself because in everyday life, I am much more frank. To be, I was a little careful about my image because I have children and I didn’t want it to fall on them.
