TAIPEI, October 9, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — The Taiwan Tourism Bureau is actively strengthening its presence in the European market. After the success of the promotion in London in September, a new immersive exhibition, “TAIWAN – Waves of Wonder: Journey through the Seasons of Taiwan”, is held at Parisfrom October 9 to 13, 2024, at Espace Thorigny in the Marais. This exhibition highlights the natural and cultural beauty of Taiwan through immersive installations representing the four seasons.
French visitors carefully examine the works on display at the exhibition dedicated to Taiwan
Visitors can explore Yanshui’s lantern festivals and fireworks in spring, a sensory dining experience in summer, and the splendor of autumn landscapes along the railway and cycle paths. In addition to visual and sound exhibitions, daily Taiwanese tea and lantern painting workshops are offered, attracting many visitors.
During the opening night, October 8, Mr. Chang-Ming Hsiehdirector of the Frankfurt Office of the Taiwan Tourism Organization, and Mme Hao Pei-chih, ambassador of Taiwan to Franceattended the inauguration ceremony with personalities from the tourism sector. Mr. Hsieh recalled that the inauguration of the Taiwan Tourist Information Center in Paris April 30, 2024 marks an important milestone for the development of the European market.
The evening continued with a musical performance by Money Yes-ping and Karsten Hochapfel, followed by a tasting of Taiwanese specialties created by the starred chef Sean Kao. This exhibition represents a new approach to promoting Taiwan as a must-see tourist destination in Europe.
