Senegal’s starting lineup for the match against Malawi (at 1 p.m. GMT) is already known. For his second match as Lions coach, Pape Thiaw makes some changes to his team.
Ismail Jakobs, who returned to Istanbul, will be replaced by El Hadji Malick Diouf, who will start for the first time in the second leg of the qualifiers for the “Morocco 2025” CAN. The left back made his debut for the national team on the same pitch last month, in the match against Burundi, won 1-0 thanks to a penalty scored by Ismaila Sarr.

In defense, Habib Diarra, who entered the game four days ago, will this time be lined up from the start, replacing Formose Mendy. In midfield, Pape Matar Sarr, who remained on the bench for all 90 minutes of Friday’s 4-0 victory, returns to the starting XI.
