INTERVIEW – “Without fundamental change, the question of censorship will arise,” warns the deputy president of the National Rally (RN) group on the eve of the parliamentary debates on the budget.

LE FIGARO. – You met the Minister of the Economy, Antoine Armand, Monday evening. With what results ?

Jean-Philippe TANGUY. – We spoke out for millions of French people who are waiting for a real break with Macronist policy. First of all, a break with deindustrialization which is once again hitting our country for lack of an effective policy. I told the minister that we refused to allow a sector as vital as the pharmaceutical industry to be plundered by American funds.

A break then with fifty years of deficit budget linked to a systematic slippage of public finances, despite record tax rates. Michel Barnier had promised to stop mismanagement and ensure tax justice. In reality, spending is increasing faster than inflation, investments are being sacrificed and tax increases…
