Grenoble. Thunderstorms and heavy rain, here are the sectors affected in Isère

While the weather conditions are worthy of the summer period with 25°C in Grenoble this Tuesday October 15, 2024, the weather will change very quickly.

Ex-Hurricane Leslie will cause bad weather throughout France, particularly in the south-east.

Forecasts from meteorological institutes predict the arrival of a stormy and rainy depression in the coming hours in Isère. Here’s what to expect.

Showers Wednesday

According to data from the official meteorology and climatology service in France, the depression will bring showers to the Isère region from Wednesday October 16 in the morning.

The showers should not be very intense since they will stop around midday. Apart from the Vienne and Roussillon sectors, thethe entire department will be concerned.

In Grenoble, showers are expected between 4 a.m. and 9 a.m. this Wednesday, before clearings return during the morning.

Thunderstorms Thursday

The depression should remain over the south-east of France and will bring thunderstorms. Thursday will be sunnier in Isère.

From the end of the afternoon, storm activity will concentrate in the north of the department. The Grenoble basin and the south of the department will only be affected by showers which can be locally intense.

Note that, for the moment, Météo France has not placed the department of Isère on vigilance, unlike the Hautes-Alpes and Ardèche.
