From the morning of Wednesday October 9, 2024, 30 departments were placed on orange rain – flood vigilance. Among them, two Picardy departments, Aisne and Oise.
In the middle of the afternoon, as the ex-hurricane, reclassified as a storm, Kirk arrived in France, 35 departments were placed on orange vigilance. And a 36th was placed on red alert. This is the Seine-et-Marne for the floods.
