08:44: Sciences Po is blocked again this morning by supporters of Palestine, according to several images posted on social networks. Same situation in where again trash cans have been installed to block the school entrances.

Through a press release, the Palestine Committee of Sciences Po invited students to mobilize. The context of this call is marked both by a national mobilization for social demands and by the dramatic situation in the Gaza Strip. Indeed, today’s inter-professional demonstrations aimed, among other things, at an increase in wages and the repeal of the pension reform.

The students thus articulated their social demands with a strong political message concerning the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The organizers spoke of their solidarity with the Palestinian people in the face of Israeli bombings which have lasted for almost a year. “We cannot remain silent in the face of the atrocities committed in Gaza,” declared a representative of the committee, recalling the thousands of civilian victims, the majority women and children, according to figures from the Ministry of Health of the Gaza government.
