Very rainy storms fell in Marseille, as did a good part of Bouches-du-Rhône. More than 50 liters of water per m2 fell in a short time between Cassis and Marseille, and the heavy rains continued around 8:20 a.m.

Traffic jams of several kilometers have formed in the city center of Marseille, traffic is completely paralyzed there.

Traffic is also completely saturated on various roads in the department; for example, it currently takes an hour to travel between and Marseille.

Not far from there, the Alpes-Maritimes were placed on orange alert for rain and flooding between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. this Tuesday. All schools have also been closed as a precaution.
