Several cars caught fire east of Nantes early this Sunday morning

Thirteen firefighters intervened shortly after 5 a.m. this Sunday, May 5, 2024, in Carquefou. Six cars and tires were on fire.

High flames rose early this Sunday morning, Allée des Sapins, in Carquefou.

According to the Loire-Atlantique Fire and Rescue Operational Center (CODIS 44), six cars and tire storage caught fire, in a building used as a car garage.

Spread avoided

Three engines and thirteen firefighters were sent to the scene. Their intervention allowed to avoid spreading to the buildingindicates COSIS 44 at 7 a.m. this Sunday.

No one was hurt. The causes of the disaster remain to be clarified.
