Friends of the book were there, Saturday May 4, 2024 at the Municipal Theater of the city of Tunis, with the awards ceremony of the 28th edition of the Comar d’or Literary Awards.
Eminent Tunisian artists, writers and intellectuals attended this major literary event with a thought for Ali Bécheur, 1st Golden Comar, who died on April 6, 2024.
The jury for this edition, composed for novels in French by Ridha Kefi, Mokhtar Sahnoun, Kamel Ben Ouanes, Monia Mouakher Kalel and Mohamed Harmel and for novels in Arabic by Mohamed El Khadhi, Neziha Khelifi, Hafidha Kara Bibene, Ahmed Guesmi and Hafedh Mahfoudh decided to award the prizes for this edition as follows:
– THE Golden Comar in Arabic: “Dafater Jilani Oueld Ahmed” by Sahbi karaâni
– The Golden Comar in French: “Misunderstandings” by Azza Filali
– The Special Jury Prize (French): “Flowering” by Wafa Ghorbel L
-The Discovery Prize (French): “So that the weather is more beautiful” by Atef Kadhoumi
-The Special Jury Prize (Arabic): “Hdrat dhilali allati taaraj” (هدرة ظلالي التي تعرج) by Kalthoum Ayachia
-The Discovery Prize (Arabic): “arch al majanin” (عرش المجانين) by Chaker Nacef
Remember that 58 novels were selected for this edition chaired by Lotfi Ben Haj Kacem, including 37 in Arabic and 21 in French.
