Since 1983 Belflorissimo has launched the spring festivities in the Lion City, this year the 40th anniversary edition promises to be even richer in events and surprises!
That’s it, the countdown is on, we were this morning, live from Place Corbis, in the last minutes before the official opening to the public of the 40th edition of Belflorissimo, undoubtedly one of the most anticipated events of this start of the spring season in Belfort.
So how do we go about renewing ourselves every year, while keeping our identity and above all while retaining our audience? This is the question posed to the organizers of this wonderful meeting, which has established itself, over time, as a must-see in the Lion City.

Elizabeth WhiteVice-President of the Flower Market association, at the origin of the event, with her husband, explains it to us straight away: “There was a real expectation from the public from the start, to which we responded, at first modestly, and then very quickly this event gained momentum, and the city of Belfort, from the second edition, wanted to get involved in its organization, we were in…. 1984…. and without this essential support, we would undoubtedly not have succeeded in making Belflorissimo what it has become today… 40 years later!”
A hard core of volunteers present from the very beginning, and flower pots full of ideas, add to that these loyal exhibitors, and an attentive and caring public, nothing more was needed for the recipe to take hold, Without forget the many gifts to be won over these 3 days!!
So today, Saturday and Sunday we’re meeting at Belflorissimo, Place Corbis in Belfort, to feast your eyes and taste buds too, with exhibitors who will present their culinary specialties, spirits to discover and enjoy. enjoy (in moderation) and then everything to equip your gardens, your terraces, your interiors, in short, make your imagination and your green spaces flourish!
