To respect tradition, on this last day of the year 2024, a delegation of elected officials from the municipality led by the first deputy Gérard Gronfier, visited the on-call teams of public services.
The tour began with the emergency department of the Jean Bouveri hospital center, continued at the police station and ended at the René Priest rescue center.
These visits allow elected officials to thank all these staff who work on a daily basis to maintain the public service, throughout the year, for their commitment, dedication and efficiency, by offering boxes of chocolates to each department.

For this evening of December 31, 2 doctors on call, 1 intern, 3 nurses, 1 nursing assistant, 1 ambulance driver, 1 stretcher bearer, were on hand to meet the needs of this last day of the year.
At the time of the visit, activity was rather calm, normal and fluid.
At the police station…
For this New Year's Eve, Commissioner Julien Rouaire welcomed the delegation. For this last evening of the year, 6 men were at their posts.
The day saw sustained activity with around ten interventions.
At the fire and rescue center
At the rescue center, the delegation was welcomed at the home by Captain Capdeville Louis-Marie who took the opportunity to thank the firefighters for the work carried out throughout the year.
The 1is deputy recalls the joint actions carried out with the firefighters and highlights the next meeting, on January 10 for the presentation of ranks and medals at the rescue center.
For this New Year's Eve, 8 firefighters are on duty and an on-call team, to which are added volunteer firefighters if necessary.
