Here it all begins: what awaits you in episode 1080 of Wednesday January 1, 2025 [SPOILERS] – News Series on TV

Wednesday January 1st in Here it all begins…

Gary feels betrayed by Solal

At the Institute, Inès finds Zoé whom she questions about a video that has gone viral where we see her reproducing the choreography of Dirty Dancing with Solal. In the comments of the video, everyone is betting that they will get together. Inès therefore pushes her sister to admit that she likes Solal. But Zoe says they're just friends.

After which, Zoé joins Solal at the CDI where the chef Armand congratulates them on the success of the New Year's evening and in particular for their choreography which set the dance floor on fire. The chef also encourages the pair to consider more projects together, suggesting that they work on the Valentine's Day menu.

Zoé then goes to the gates of the Institute to find Lionel. Both made an appointment with their father to tell them of their disagreement concerning his decision to go to work in Biarritz and to take Inès there. Lionel explains to his father that he got him a job interview at Angèle's farm. He lied on his CV because Stéphane has no experience. But the latter agrees to go to the interview. Once faced with Angèle, he ends up confessing the whole truth. Touched by his story and convinced of his motivation, she agrees to take him.

Later, Zoé goes to practice in the kitchen and sits next to Gary. He immediately confronts her about Solal. Zoe apologizes for the kiss they shared last Friday before realizing that Gary didn't know. The young girl may have claimed that she is just friends with Solal, but Gary considers that it is because of him that they broke up.

Outside, Mattéo and Solal come across Gary by chance. The latter attacks Solal who admits to having kissed Zoé. However, he states that their breakup has nothing to do with him because his feelings for Zoe are not reciprocated. But Gary feels betrayed. He comes to blows. In the heat of the moment, he finds himself thrown backwards against a wall. Mad with rage, Gary refuses Solal access to his room.

A little later, Solal goes to his room at the boarding school to collect some things with Mattéo. He then discovers Gary on the ground, completely unconscious, bleeding from the back of his neck. Solal rushes to him. While calling for help, Mattéo confides that Gary suffers from an illness which prevents him from feeling pain…

A Secret Santa is launched

In the park, Bérénice joins Carla, Jim and Malik to wish them a happy new year. She then tries to chat a little with her ex, then leaves on her own. Jim and Malik are convinced that the couple will reconcile. To help them, Malik suggests organizing a Secret Santa at the roommate.

In class, Souleymane confides to Jim that he pulled Bérénice to Secret Santa. He feels uncomfortable giving him a gift and suggests that Jim trade with him because he knows that the latter shot Malik. Jim accepts his proposal on the condition that Souleymane gives him the gift he will receive.

Later, Carla discovers the gift that Jim plans to give Bérénice for Secret Santa. She thinks it's a really bad idea and wants to help him find another one. Jim accepts.

Quentin fell for Leonard

Malik warns Leonard of the Secret Santa organization. The two boys then discuss Quentin's costume at the 80s-themed New Year's party. The young man was dressed as a cowboy from the Village People. For Malik, there is no doubt: contrary to what Quentin told him, he is convinced that the latter is gay.

At the Commissary, Leonard is thinking about a gift for Maya that he got from Secret Santa. He asks Quentin for advice, who suggests that they think about it together at the local café. There, the two boys find an idea for Maya's gift: a sports outfit.

Leonard thanks Quentin for his help. The latter takes the opportunity to find out why Malik asked him if he was gay. A little embarrassed, Leonard explains the reason to him. Quentin then declares that he is bisexual and that she likes him. He's ready to try something with him. More reasonable, Leonard prefers that they remain friends because he does not want to create problems with Maya. Quentin respects his choice.
