A real ecosystem around Dorothée

In “Le Club Dorothée”, the host was surrounded by Jacky, Patrick Simpson-Jones, Ariane Carletti and François Corbier. The last two are now deceased.

It was this program which introduced the massive distribution of Japanese cartoons in France, which caused controversy due to the sometimes violent nature of some of these programs, such as “Ken the Survivor”.

The show was produced by AB Productions, which had set up a real ecosystem around its star Dorothée: this company also promoted her career as a singer and launched numerous sitcoms, including “Hélène and the boys”.
