On this Thursday, November 14, 2024, LVMH announced numerous changes in its governance, in particular in that of its Wines & Spirits division. Another announcement concerns William Mottethe CEO of Sephora. Indeed, he will be appointed member of the LVMH executive committee from January 1, 2025. It must be said that Sephora's results drive the growth of the group's Selective Distribution division.


Biography
A graduate of the Ecole Centrale de , holder of a master's degree in economics from the University of Cambridge and an MBA, Guillaume Motte began his career in the financial and banking sector before reorienting himself in specialized distribution in within the Fnac group. From 2011 to 2014, he managed the Jennyfer brand before becoming CEO of Célio in 2015. He was poached in 2018 by LVMH for Sephora's Europe and Middle East activity. In spring 2021, Guillaume Motte was appointed deputy general manager of the Fashion Group, which brings together LVMH's “small” fashion brands (Céline, Givenchy, Kenzo, Marc Jacobs, Patou, etc.). Since January 1, 2023, he has been CEO of Sephora.
