This Friday, November 1, TF1 is broadcasting the 26th edition of the NRJ Music Awards presented as every year by Nikos Aliagas. After winning the prize for French-speaking female artist of the year, Vitaa had a thought for Diam’s with whom she collaborated in 2006 in particular.
It’s an evening that some music enthusiasts wouldn’t miss for anything in the world. This Friday September 1st, Nikos Aliagas is at the helm of the 26th edition of the NRJ Music Awards which, once again this year, rewards French and international musical artists. In total, the list displays 15 different categories, including that of French-speaking revelation of the year in which Helena et Pierre Garnier are shown. Both marked the eleventh season of the Star Academy broadcast in 2023 on TF1. If the first reached the semi-final of the program, the second won this edition against Julien Lieb. Just after leaving the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys, the young singer unveiled his very first single called Those we were and which is competing in the French-speaking song category.

The evening started with a performance by the group Indochine. A little later in the evening, David Guetta sang with Masseo and Emma from Star Academy his new title Forever Young. Also, Amir caused a sensation before and during the ceremony. On the red carpet of the event, he appeared happier than ever with his wife Litalpregnant with her third child! Once on stage, he had his head shaved by his dancers. Vitaa won the French-speaking artist of the year award. “I’m shocked,” she first reacted. And to continue: “I didn’t think I’d be here tonight, taking this prize tonight (…) It’s a job full of uncertainties. I have only one certainty: I have been here for 20 years. And if I’m here, it’s not just the work, the entourage, the albums, it’s the public in fact“.

Following her speech, Vitaa had a special thought for a person who still counts a lot in her life and in her career. “I have an exceptional audience. You sing songs that I wrote in 2003, in 2004, you sing everything by heart. I’m fascinated. This evening, I would like to have a special thought for my sister, Mélanie, Diam’seven if she is not there, in my heart she is there, all the time and I started with her, it’s been years, I never thought it would last this long. Thank you so much for this gift” she said.
