As in recent weeks, the Violets were once again unable to win a match which was within their reach and which they largely dominated against Angers (1-1). Who shone? Who messed up? La Dépêche takes out the notebook.
LEFTOVERS (6/10). He procrastinated and came out at the wrong time on Niane during the opening score (7) but made up for it by masterfully stopping Adbelli’s penalty thanks to a superb horizontal shot on the right side (60). SIDIBE (6). He is at his best. Physically unmoveable, the world champion was very present in any area of the field. And what a fight at the end of the match to win his team 40m (78)! The Stadium appreciated it.
CRESSWELL (5). He is imperial in the air (all his duels won) but it is more complicated on the ground where he has been caught several times by his opposite number. Not exempt from any criticism on the opening score, he nevertheless held the house afterwards. His header from a corner forced Fofana to make a save (84th).
MCKENZIE (4). His copy could have been clean but it was he who conceded the penalty which could have buried TFC with a clumsy foul.

SIERRO (5.5). Discreet in the first half, he raised his level of play upon returning from the locker room. It is he who serves Gboho perfectly on the action which brings the Toulouse equalizer (63). Not happy in his set pieces, however.
BABICKA (4,5). Hot and cold for Toulouse’s top scorer of the season. He took the best several times thanks to his speed on the right side. But he sinned in the last gesture. Less visible in the second half, his powerful shot fled the target (74th). LEAN took his place at the end of the match (83rd) who made a superb gesture (small bridge at the edge of the goal line) and brought danger.
GBOHO (6.5). He is the Toulouse player capable of turning a match around. Often zoning out on the left to launch his rushes, he put the opposing defense through an ordeal thanks to his leg passes. If he sometimes does a little too much, he is the detonator of this team and it is with his shot that the Violets equalize.
ABOUKHLAL (4,5). Restless but clumsy, he misses a huge opportunity after eliminating the Angevin goalkeeper, his too soft shot is caught before crossing the line by a defender.
KING (5). Author of his first goal, slightly lucky in diverting a shot from Gboho, he has to double the lead from 6 meters but is slow to arm his shot. He didn’t touch many balls to put himself forward.
