Several hundred people gathered to say farewell to Michel Blanc. Thursday October 10, 2024, the actor’s funeral took place at the Saint-Eustache church in Paris, where he used to go.

Several personalities from cinema and theater came to say a final goodbye to their friend who had started his career as an actor in the Splendid troupe. Alongside Gérard Jugnot, Thierry Lhermitte, Christian Clavier, Marie-Anne Chazel and Josiane Balasko, who were all present, he played Jean-Claude Dusse, a character as endearing as he was horrifying.

“Damn Michel, what did you do to us? » declared Jean-Paul Rouve in his tribute speech. Emu, the actor peppered his remarks with points humor and irony. After him, Josiane Balasko also declared a tribute punctuated with derision.
