After the elimination of Emmanuelle during the ambassadors’ meeting as well as the reunification, Koh-Lanta, The Cursed Tribe returns for an eighth episode this Tuesday October 8, 2024, still on TF1. And this time, things become even more serious: first individual tests and first council of the white tribe! Summary of this new issue.
Koh-Lanta 2024: The white tribe makes its mark
Cohabitation is off to a good start! The food portions are much more generous – enough to delight Gustin – and the sand seems, according to the ex-reds, much more comfortable. Another significant event: during the meeting of ambassadors, Sophia promised Gustin that the ex-yellows would not eliminate him at the first reunification council. Information that she delivers to Frédéric out of sight. Also, for his part, Frédéric reveals to Ilyesse, Fabrice and Charlotte that he has made an alliance with Ugo… which he does not intend to honor. On the new white camp, strategies are already well underway!
Now that everyone has got their bearings, we also have to eat… Some head off into the forest while Thibault finally realizes his dream: fishing, thanks to the ex-reds’ kit! And the farmer is impressive: he brings back several fish to the camp. And it will be necessary to feed Gustin, already exhausted…
Koh-Lanta 2024: Who won the first individual event?
Now for the first individual event. This is the legendary obstacle course ! As Denis Brogniart reminds us, to win the game, you have to be strong physically but also mentally. The adventurers face eight obstacles. In order to respect fairness, the course is done in two stages: first the women then the men.
The women set off and Cassandre takes the lead. But she is caught by Sophia. Eventually, Cassandre finds her place and even wins the victory ! She is followed by Charlotte, Sophia, Sarah.
The men rush in turn. Ilyesse is fast and takes a lead from the start of the event. But during the ropes obstacle, the cards are redistributed: Gustin catches up with Ilyesse by passing the obstacle standing, both fall. In the end, it was Gustin who won the event! He is followed by Ilyesse, Ugo, Frédéric.
The final is then played between Cassandre and Gustin: the goal is to free an anito from a labyrinth. A test which presents a major difficulty since the adventurers are behind the labyrinth and must rely on touch and not on sight. Gustin is on the right track but he can’t find the exit and goes back. Enough to give Cassandre every chance, until now lagging behind her comrade. Eventually, Gustin finds the exit and wins ! He is therefore immune for the first council of the white tribe.
Who was eliminated at the first white council of Koh-Lanta?
The council is approaching and only a few are protected. Gustin has the immunity totem while Ilyesse and Cécile have individual necklaces won during the cursed island duels. On each side, strategies abound. The ex-yellows want to target Sarah… but not everyone follows: Charlotte and Sophia intend to vote with their soul and conscience. They then talk about eliminating Maxim, with whom they have little affinity. At the same time, Maxim proposed an alliance to Frederick.
Faced with Denis Brogniart, individualistic behavior is mentioned. The latter then explains himself by explaining that he was tired but still got up to look for food and cut the coconuts. Finally, everyone votes. Before the counting, Cécile plays with her immunity necklace, just like Ilyesse who places the precious jewel around her neck.
Finally, it’s time for the counting, surprise: Sarah and Fabrice both have seven ballots in their name! Faced with this tie, everyone must vote again, against one of the two adventurers. New tie between Sarah and Fabrice: they are then decided by drawing lots. The black ball is drawn by Fabrice, who is therefore eliminated !
For his part, Sarah remains in the adventure but is very moved, to the point of tears. She is very surprised to have been targeted by the votes of the ex-yellows.
Before leaving, Fabrice gives his black vote to Thibault. At the next council, he will vote twice.

Tuesday October 8, the eighth episode of Koh-Lanta brought together, according to Puremédias3.34 million viewers in the first part, or 16.9% of the public and 31.6% of women responsible for purchases under 50 years old. The second part of the evening was attended by 2.99 million faithful, or 14.7% of the public and 24.1% of women responsible for purchases under 50 years old. A nice score for TF1!
