This is an adaptation of the book “Le Grêlé – The killer was a cop” (Seuil, 2022) by Patricia Tourancheau. This most intriguing cold case in legal history is dissected by psychiatrist Daniel Zagury.

But, despite the number of cases, clues, and the new tools made available to them, the case is beyond the investigators, and the killer is still at large.

While the psychiatrist puts together the last pieces of the puzzle, parallel investigators get involved in the enigma of “Grélé”. The official investigation has been at a standstill for years. But a final twist in a decidedly extraordinary affair breaks out! The body of François Vérove is found in a small studio. At his side, a letter, which provides the answers so sought after by three decades of investigation.
