Ile-de-France for a double?

Two players from the Paris region, Sara Cakarevic and Johan Sébastien Tatlot, will play in the finals of the French championships 2nd series, in Blois. They will face Maëlle Leclercq and Maxime Chazal respectively.

After 2016, Sara Cakarevic (our photo) could offer herself a new title at the French championships 2nd series. The TC Tremblaysien player, ranked 21st French, assumed her status as seed number 1 in the table by eliminating Mathilde Lollia (IDF, N50) in two sets (6/2, 7/6(2)).

In the final, she will face Maëlle Leclercq (OCC, -15). The Grande-Motte player was pushed to her limits before winning the Occitan duel against Lucie Pawlak (OCC, N57) with a score of (4/6, 7/6(6), 6/2. There will therefore be no new French champion title for Lucie, who won the 17-18 year-old title less than two weeks ago in Dijon.

In boys, Maxime Chazal (ARA, N55) no longer hung around on the courts. The resident of the Annecy le Vieux club outclassed his semi-final against Arthur Nagel (GDE), who only scored two games (6/2, 6/0).

The other half was much tighter but Johan Sebastien Tatlot (IDF, N61) ended up getting the better of Alexandre Reco (PDL) at the end of the rounds (7/5(5), 7/5).

Chazal-Tatlot… the match looks set to be particularly undecided between these two numbered players.
