On Tuesday, in the first round, Sinner was trailing 6-2, 1-0, before winning 18 of the last 22 games of his match against the American Mackenzie McDonald (2-6, 6-2, 6-1, 6-2). On Thursday, in the second round, the Italian again took a little time to get going, before clearly pulling away against another American, the young Michelsen (49th ATP at 20 years old).
