Acer has announced a premium Predator-branded gaming monitor to complement its gaming laptop lineup at CES 2025. The Acer Predator XB323QX is one of the first 5K (5,120 x 2,880) of 31.3 inches to debut in 2025. And as if that wasn’t enough, it has yet another round in his bag: DFR (Dynamic Frequency and Resolution).

Basically, you can switch from 5K 144Hz to 1440p 288Hz at will, provided your device/cable supports the resolution. The Acer Predator P3 and 99% sRGB gamut.

As for I/O, the Acer Predator XB323QX comes with just two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DP 1.4 port. There is no built-in USB hub. The monitor also comes with a pair of 2-watt speakers that you can use as a backup audio solution. Unfortunately, you will have to wait a bit before you can purchase the Predator XB323QX. Acer says it will be available in Q3 2024 at an unspecified price that will likely be revealed closer to launch.
