Black Ops 6 must face a massive problem directly concerning its players who are becoming more and more annoyed…

As we told you, for several days, nothing has been going well for Treyarch’s FPS Call of Duty Black Ops 6. After the appearance of cheaters who have taken over the Ranked Game mode, the numerous bugs, the pay- to-win and pay-to-lose, this time it’s the SBMM which angers the community more than ever. However, some players have found THE solution.

These Black Ops 6 players found a drastic solution against SBMM

For several years, a subject has been raging within the Call of Duty community: that of SBMM. For those who don’t yet know what it is, le SBMM (Skill Based MatchMaking) is a mechanic that takes into account several important points so that you find yourself, through your games, against players of your level. However, it is clear thattoday, the SBMM is much too powerful and for several players, the gaming experience becomes a real nightmare as they are unfortunately… chained.

Today, enough is enough and some have found a technique to find less difficult games: simply leave the current match if it proves too difficult. On the social network Reddit, the user responding under the pseudonym sw3ar called on players to do like him so that Activision changes things.

As we write these lines, sw3ar’s post got more than 1,400 upvotes, and when we look at the comments, several have adopted this methodand it seems effective. Indeed, on several occasions we can read that by repeatedly leaving games that were too difficult, certain players subsequently fell into much simpler lobbies.

Towards a modification of the SBMM in Call of Duty?

From now on, it remains to be seen whether the developers of Call of Duty Black Ops 6 will decide to modify the SBMM mechanics or not. However, this would be very surprising since a few months ago, the Activision studio published a precise analysis of this functionality which is now causing a lot of debate, and according to the developers, the SBMM is structured around 8 points:a quality of connection (ping), time to find a game, modes selected in the playlist, history of cards and modes played, performance (score, KDA), keyboard/mouse or controller, platform and finally , the use of voice chat or not.

And Activision had launched a battery of tests via Modern Warfare 3 with the SBMM disabled, and according to their report, “ 80 to 90% of players experience better placements at the end of the game, stay in the game longer and leave games less frequently » when the latter is activated.

Now, all we have to do is wait a little before knowing if the devs will still make some changes, even if they are slight…
