these connected security cameras have it all

Here is a slew of connected surveillance cameras from Reolink, with no less than four models: one with 4K dual optics and three capable of filming 24 hours a day for seven days.

Reolink unveils its new products at CES 2025 in Las Vegas with the Duo 3 WiFi camera and the Atlas series, which consists of three distinct references. The brand is banking on dual optics, improved autonomy and even solar energy.

Let's start with the product that Reolink is putting the most emphasis on at the start of the year: the dual sensor camera.

Duo 3 WiFi: a panoramic view without compromise

The Duo 3 WiFi is a wall camera that stands out with its two 4K sensors, working in concert. In fact, this product restores an image with a 180° field of vision by combining the two 4K sensors. This allows you to obtain videos and photos in 16 Mpx (7680 x 2160 pixels) which should offer a very high level of detail.

Thus, reading license plates or identifying a face should be much more effective than with a classic 2K camera.

In addition, Reolink announces that the 180° field of view is based on image stitching technology that almost completely eliminates distortions.

The night vision of the Duo 3 WiFi is not forgotten, with the added support of integrated projectors, allowing color images to be captured even at night. Classic night vision of course remains available.

Connectivity-wise, the camera supports dual-band Wi-Fi 6, operating on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. This should allow you to enjoy a 16 Mpx stream locally, but it is not yet confirmed whether this will be possible via a remote connection. Good point: the videos will be recorded in full format on the Reolink Cloud.

Atlas Series: three models for continuous and autonomous security

With the Atlas series, Reolink is deploying a range of robust cameras, capable of operating in total autonomy, or even, for one model, without requiring a Wi-Fi network. Reolink offers its Atlas range in three cameras.

Atlas PT Ultra

The Atlas PT Ultra model is the spearhead of this range. It offers 4K resolution and a 20,000 mAh battery. The manufacturer announces record autonomy, with 24 hours of continuous recording for 7 days, without recharging.

Paired with the 6W Atlas Solar solar panel, this camera can operate indefinitely with just two hours of daily sunlight. Note that this panel is compatible with all Atlas cameras.

Atlas Go PT

The Atlas Go PT is designed for off-grid environments. Featuring 4G connectivity, this camera is ideal for isolated properties, such as cabins or farms. It maintains the same autonomy as the Atlas PT Ultra.

In addition, its motorized mechanism allows you to cover a 360° view. It can even be used to admire the surrounding wildlife, at any time of the day or night.

Atlas 2K !

The Atlas is the most accessible model in the range. With 2K resolution, this camera meets residential surveillance needs. Although it lacks some of the high-end features of its counterparts, it retains the core strengths of the series, like ColorX vision and continuous recording.

To make the most of it, you absolutely must have the Reolink Home Hub, which supports up to 8 cameras simultaneously.

Availability and price

The Duo 3 WiFi is available today from €189.99.
The same goes for the Atlas PT Ultra, the Atlas Go PT and the Atlas 2K, the prices of which have not yet been announced.
