Sony unveils its first selection of PlayStation Plus games for 2025, offering three titles with radically different universes. Starting January 7, subscribers will be able to enrich their library with a controversial action game, an excellent racing game, and an independent gem.
Sony has just lifted the veil on its first batch of free games of the year. In January 2025, PlayStation Plus subscribers will once again be entitled to three titles. Subscribers have until February 3 to add these games to their library. At the same time, we remind you that there are only a few days left, until January 6, to collect the December titles: It Takes Two, the multi-awarded cooperative game, Aliens: Dark Descent, and the ambitious MMO Temtem.
PS+ games added in January 2025
From January 7, 2025here are the new games added to all PlayStation Plus subscriptions, at no additional cost.
- Suicide Squad : Kill the Justice League – PS5
- Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered – PS4
- The Stanley Parable : Ultra Deluxe – PS4, PS5
Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League arrives on PS5 a year after its eventful release. The title from Rocksteady Studios, which had not met with the expected success, is being given a second chance to players. This version includes all post-launch content, including the four seasons which enriched the roster with characters like Deathstroke, the Joker, Mrs. Freeze and Lawless. A major update, scheduled for January 14, will introduce an offline mode allowing players to enjoy the main campaign even after the multiplayer servers eventually shut down.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered is, for its part, the excellence of the racing genre on PS4. Developed by Criterion Games, the studio behind the legendary Burnout series, this remaster of the 2010 game offers chases in open environments inspired by the American West Coast. Players can embody both law enforcement and pilots on the run, in high-speed confrontations benefiting from modernized technical implementation.
Finally, The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe completes this selection on PS4 and PS5. This expanded version of the cult 2013 game doesn’t just improve the graphics: it significantly enriches the original experience with new content. This metafictional narrative game, praised for its intelligent writing and humor, questions the notion of choice in video games and the relationship between creators and players.
