The Berkane Renaissance will try to achieve a victory against Stade Malien during the match scheduled for this Sunday, on the pitch of the Stade du 26 Mars in Bamako, from 8 p.m., on behalf of the fourth day of the group stage of the African Confederation Cup.

The orange team is aiming for three points to ensure their qualification for the quarter-finals even before the last two days of the group stage. Berkane achieved a flawless performance in the first leg, totaling 9 points after beating all his opponents in the group, thus consolidating his place as leader with a lead of five points over his direct pursuer.

A draw in Bamako would also be enough for the Berkane Renaissance to get their ticket to the quarters. In the event of a defeat, qualification would be postponed to the next match. In the first three matches, Berkane beat Luanda Sol of Angola (2-0), Stellenbosch of South Africa (3-1), and Stade Malien (1-0).

Furthermore, the refereeing commission of the Confederation of African has appointed Ethiopian referee Bamlak Tessema to officiate this match. He will be assisted by his compatriots Samuel Temesgen (main assistant) and Belachew Tegla (secondary assistant), while Tewodros will be the fourth referee.

Currently, Berkane Renaissance dominates group B with 9 points (the maximum possible), followed by Stade Malien with 4 points. Stellenbosch occupies third place with 3 points, while Luanda Sol brings up the rear.
