Gaming features
The Gigabyte G32QC offers excellent value for money. For less than €300 at the moment, it is indeed capable of offering a good quality gaming experience!
With a diagonal of 31.5 inches and a 1500R curve, this screen allows for good immersion in gaming. It has very good characteristics with a perfect response time of 1ms which ensures great responsiveness, and a refresh rate of 165 Hz, which offers great fluidity and allows you to enjoy even the most competitive titles.
Additionally, it is compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro which ensures a stutter- and tear-free experience even at high frame rates.
As it is a QHD resolution model (2560×1440 pixels), it will not require the use of a high-end graphics card and will be completely suitable for a gaming PC equipped with a GPU like the RTX 4070.
Image quality and connectivity
For a screen at such a low price, the image quality of this Gigabyte G32QC is rather impressive. Its VA panel is in fact capable of displaying 94% of the DCI-P3 colorimetric range and 124% of the sRGB, which indicates very good color management. The brightness is correct with a peak at 350 nits, while the contrast is rather good with a ratio of 3000:1. Capable of displaying HDR, it is also VESA Display HDR400 certified.
- If you decide to hang it on a monitor arm, and thus remove the foot provided to better install it on your desk and benefit from better ergonomics, you will need a basic model compatible with VESA 100 x 100 and can support around ten kilograms.
For connectivity, you will be entitled to a DisplayPort 1.2 and 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, as well as a jack port. Two USB 3.0 ports are also included and will allow you to easily connect your keyboard and mouse or any other peripheral.
