Amazon Canada has published the Galaxy Watch 7 page. Enough to confirm certain rumors, but also to learn more about the future Samsung watch.
During the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, Samsung finally confirmed the date of its next Galaxy Unpacked conference. The event will finally be held in Paris on July 10 and should be an opportunity for the firm to present its Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 folding smartphones, its Galaxy Ring, but also its connected watch, the Galaxy Watch 7.
It is precisely the striking Samsung that interests us today, after its product sheet was published by the Canadian version of Amazon, as spotted by the site PassionateGeekz.
While rumors until now mainly referred to the future Galaxy Watch Ultra, a new premium watch in Samsung’s range, information about the standard Galaxy Watch 7 was sparse to say the least. However, the page put online by Amazon allows you to discover several of the new features planned for this connected watch.
Indeed, the page indicates some information, starting with the 40 mm format, the cream color or the Bluetooth connectivity of the model in question. Remember, however, that the Galaxy Watch 7 should also be available in a 4G version, with other colors and in a larger 44 mm format.
A new processor and a better heart rate sensor
Above all, the sheet allows us to discover certain new features of the Galaxy Watch 7 such as the integration of a new chip or a new optical heart rate sensor:
Equipped with the first 3nm chip to increase energy efficiency and operate more smoothly. The new BioActiveSensor 2 provides more reliable heart rate measurements during training and sleep.
On the one hand, the new chip expected on the watch – which should be the Exynos W1000 – should make it possible to gain autonomy, but also daily performance. On the other hand, the new optical heart rate sensor could integrate more LEDs and sensors to reduce the margin of error when analyzing heart rate. Remember that the previous sensor on Samsung watches was limited to a single LED.
Among the other information on the Amazon page, we can discover that the watch will logically highlight Samsung’s new AI features, particularly for analysis and recovery monitoring.
Finally, the page also provides a clue as to the availability of the Galaxy Watch 7. If it confirms that sales will be open from July 10, it specifies that the first deliveries will be made a week later, from July 16 next July.
