Ubisoft confirms that Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still in development | Xbox

Ubisoft recently gave news of Beyond Good & Evil – 20th Anniversary Edition, remaster of the eponymous game released in 2003 and already remastered for the first time in 2011. But while the title will soon be released in an anniversary version, many players are desperately awaiting updates. news of its “sequel”, Beyond Good and Evil 2.

Yes, Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still in development

Mentioned for the first time in 2009, BG&E 2 then gradually disappeared from screens before reappearing during the “one more thing” at Ubisoft’s E3 conference in 2017.

But while development seemed to be on track, the title disappeared from the landscape again and we were treated to numerous rumors of cancellation over the last few years.

Seven years after its re-announcement, the game still hasn’t been released, but Ubisoft confirmed just yesterday in a Q&A session that development is continuing.

Yes, Beyond Good & Evil 2 is still in development, and we can’t wait to introduce you to Jade’s past in the 20th Anniversary Edition!

The company hasn’t elaborated on the subject, but officially confirming that the game is still alive is obviously reassuring.

Remember that Beyond Good and Evil 2 will be a prequel, which will therefore allow us to learn more about Jade and the events preceding the original game. Alongside the announcement of the anniversary edition of the first episode, we also learned that the title would offer links with this long-awaited sequel.

We now hope that the game will provide news quickly and above all that it will meet fans’ expectations.
