In Occitania, 49 seats are to be allocated in total. 45 deputies of the New Popular Front have either been elected or have qualified for the second round.
The first round of early legislative elections has delivered its truths in Occitanie and Lot-et-Garonne. In total, 49 seats are up for grabs in the region (not counting three other seats in Lot-et-Garonne). The National Rally came out on top in 34 constituencies in the region: three far-right candidates were elected in the first round of voting.

On the New Popular Front side, the left seems to be holding up rather well in the most urban constituencies, such as in Haute-Garonne. The NFP came out on top in 7 of the 10 constituencies in the department, despite the National Rally’s breakthrough in two constituencies. Overall, regionally, 45 NFP candidates were either elected or advanced to the second round. Another good performance was made by outgoing MP Nathalie Oziol, outgoing MP for La France Insoumise and candidate for the New Popular Front in the 2nd constituency of Hérault, who was re-elected this Sunday in the first round of the legislative elections with 58.22% of the vote. She obtained the highest percentage of votes for the New Popular Front in Occitanie.
