Do you like platform games? The cute artistic directions? But do you also like symphony orchestras? So here is a title that I am pleased to introduce to you. I discovered it when it revealed its release date. A very close period for a game which is very likely to end up in testing on our magazine. It’s called Symphonia and before giving you some details, here is its latest trailer, which is as beautiful to listen to as it is to watch.

In the realm of Symphonia, music is a source of life and energy. But since the founders and their orchestra disappeared, the inhabitants have been divided and the world is gradually falling into silence. What if there was a way to bring together a new orchestra? This is the question that Philémon, the mysterious musician of Symphonia, will have to answer.

In Symphonia, you will play as a mysterious violinist brought back to life in a world in free fall. Your violin and bow are both your instrument and your means of transportation. A platform full of puzzles where you will have to “deal” with the environment to get out. The game will introduce you to a musical world based on symphony orchestras with a multitude of very different characters. Note that the entire game is hand-designed. The icing on the cake is that the soundtrack is based on the romantic musical period, created by composer Olivier Esman.

What awaits you

  • Feel and overcome great platforming challenges with all the abilities of Philemon.
  • Discover different environments combining music and machinery.
  • Play the violin to activate the level’s elements and bring the kingdom to life.
  • Gather musical prodigies and perform breathtaking concerts to bring music, joy and glory back to earth.

Finally, know that Symphonia will be available on December 5 on Playstation 5, Xbox One, Series X|S, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch. You can already test the game via a demo available on Steam.
