The Hisense U8NQ Mini LED ULED 4K TV https://hisense.de/tvs/alle-tvs/u8nq/ has been launched in Europe. The model comes in two sizes, 65-inch and 75-inch, and features several improvements over the U7NQ TV. Additionally, a similar model, the U8N, was launched in the United States earlier this year.

The U8NQ uses Mini LED Pro technology with a full-array local dimming system and offers 3,000 nits of brightness, making it brighter than the U7NQ, which peaks at 1,500 nits. Hi-View Engine Pro technology provides 4K upscaling and the model supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision IQ and HLG formats. The display has a native refresh rate of 120Hz and offers a VRR of 144Hz, which kicks in when you enter Game Mode Pro. Other gaming features include AMD Freesync Premium Pro and less than 9.7ms input lag, compared to 11.6ms for the U7NQ. The European TV uses the Vidaa operating system rather than the Google operating system, as is the case with the U8N model. However, customers can still access apps like Netflix and YouTube and control the TV using the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa voice control. Other features include IMAX Enhanced and Filmmaker modes, as well as a solar-powered remote control with a “find my remote” tool, as seen in UK’s listing.

The U8NQ has a 60W 2.1.2 channel integrated audio system, compatible with Dolby Atmos, and can be connected to a soundbar. Ports on the device include HDMI 2.1 (eARC, ALLM, VRR, 144Hz), USB-C 3.0, and S/PDIF, or you can connect wirelessly to the TV via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi 6. You can now buy the 65-inch and 75-inch Hisense U8NQ Mini LED ULED 4K TVs for €1,999/£1,799 and €2,699/£2,299, respectively.
