An arts and nature center since 2008, the Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire (Loir-et-Cher) has a multiple identity, both heritage, artistic and horticultural, while being a place for reflection and meeting. The 2024 Art Season brings together around fifteen contemporary visual artists and photographers in the park and the castle: Miquel Barceló and The Chaumont Cave ; Vincent Bioulès with around forty paintings related to nature and landscape; Anne and Patrick Poirier with their photographs on porcelain; Bernar Venet and his Corten steel structures; Gloria Friedmann with a clay sculpture titled The Tenant ; Prune Nourry and his giant figures made of woven ropes; Pascale Marthine Tayou and her hanging chandeliers; Damien Cabanes and his marvelous gardens; Olga Kisseleva and her jewel tree; Vincent Barré and his oblong barrels crossing space; Denis Monfleur with two granite sculptures, The Birdcatcher et The Wild Man ; Kôichi Kurita and his minimalist installation; Pascal Oudet with his turned wood piece called Let the sun in ; finally, Karine Bonneval and her imaginary meadow.
