Today, Corsair is launching its new gaming monitor: The XENEON 34WQHD240-C QD-OLED.
The display delivers vibrant colors, deep blacks and enhanced brightness for a dazzling display. Featuring a sleek, slim panel with a contemporary white design, this WQHD display meets the needs of gamers and media enthusiasts alike. Of course, content creators won’t be left out with pinpoint color accuracy.
The XENEON uses a Samsung slab from 2024; the manufacturer’s latest, to provide a visually immersive option to the popular 34-inch display range. The 21:9 aspect ratio and 1800R curved screen provide a wide viewing angle for gaming, multimedia and productivity. With a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits and a 99% DCIP3 colour gamut, every image on the XENEON reveals a striking level of detail from bright light to deep darkness. This is thanks to the DisplayHDR True Black 400 mode and the 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio.
The ideal partner for players
The QD-OLED improves response times and refresh rates, making the XENEON 34 QD-OLED the ideal partner for long gaming sessions; be it racing, FPS and action games. The refresh rate reaches 240 Hz and is combined with a response time of just 0.03 ms. Which will make the image more responsive than you can see. Whether it’s NVIDIA G-SYNC or AMD FreeSyng Premium, the display will eliminate tearing effects, while maintaining motion clarity during fast-action scenes.
Ease of use
The Corsair XENEON 34 QD-OLED’s on-screen display (OSD) features a proximity sensor that is activated simply by bringing your hand close to the bottom side. This makes it easier to interact with the monitor. The rear I/O design helps reduce cabling clutter, while providing access to a powerful range of connectivity options.
The ergonomic base allows you to adjust the XENEON to the desired height (up to 100 mm) and adjust its tilt orientation (-7° to +15°) and swivel (+/-30°). This configuration flexibility, combined with VESA 100×100 mm compatibility, offers the possibility to optimize your desk space as you wish.
Protection against the burning effect
The Corsair XENEON includes a whole series of preventive measures against the burn-in effect, such as image retention refresh after eight hours of use. But also the Orbit function which shifts the entire image by one pixel every three minutes to minimize the risk of burn-in.
